If certain areas of a sports park are played on more than others accelerated wear will appear there. One can prevent or minimise this by bearing it in mind with training sessions.
It is important that the whole playing surface is used during training. Even the sidelines. Wear will then be more evenly spread and penalty areas in particular will suffer less. The coaching team can ensure that the surface is used evenly when planning and organising training sessions. It is also a good idea to use movable goals. These can then be moved around the pitch during training sessions.
