DOMO^® installs an IRB approved rugby pitch: Stade Toulousain Rugby Club in France

The first time DOMO^® Sports Grass installed artificial grass for a rugby pitch was in 2004: the IRB approved pitch at Stade Toulousain Rugby Club in France. Stade Toulousain is one of the most well-known and successful professional rugby clubs in the world. They have an impressive record: sixteen French titles, two European Cup titles and three Coupe de France titles. Jean-Luc Brumont, administrative director of Stade Toulousain, said the new facility would facilitate the training programme at the club. “We badly needed something that could be used throughout the year. We have a lot of players but not enough training space. Our natural pitches could no longer sustain our work programme, especially during the bad weather in the winter. As soon as we knew about new IRB regulations on artificial surfaces, it was an obvious move. For us, it is a revolution.”
