With the introduction of the third generation of artificial grass pitches, the process of accepting artificial grass got fully under way within the football world. Under the approving eye of FIFA, soccer’s international governing body, specific quality standards have been laid down for artificial grass pitches in the International Artificial Turf Standard (FIFA Quality Concept).
