Domo® achieved the highest possible recognition for hockey pitches
The hockey federation has strict rules for pitches and equipment. Each pitch must be approved by the FIH. There are two categories: “National Classification" for practice pitches and national competitions and “Global Classification” for international tournaments and FIH tournaments. Domo® Sports Grass has been awarded FIH Global Certification for the quality of its DOMOlympics water-based pitches. This certificate is only awarded to hockey pitches that are suitable for international and Olympic tournaments.

A good foundation and, depending on the quality, an appropriate sand infill for the artificial grass result in a high-quality pitch that requires little maintenance, is safe for the players and can be played on at all times.The essential requirements for a good foundation are STABILITY for good compressive strength, POROSITY for good frost resistance and LEVELNESS for perfect playability. The structure of a pitch must always be tailored to the specific soil conditions of the region.
