Sand-filled pitches
Sand-filled pitches have an open structure, and the grass surface has a low density. The grass fibres are kept nice and upright by the sand infill, ensuring a high degree of stability and wear resistance. This pitch guarantees an even, predictable ball roll. These pitches are multifunctional, and therefore also perfectly suited to schools and municipalities
1. Budget-friendly A DOMO STROKE pitch is a 100% polypropylene pitch completely infilled with sand. The grass fibre is a fibrillated slit-film yarn. This pitch is very budget-friendly.
2. Stable and even DOMO STROKE is constructed using a straight yarn, 90% of which is embedded in sand. This ensures that a highly stable grass surface is created with minimal expansion and shrinkage.
3. Multifunctional DOMO STROKE is a pitch developed for hockey, but can also be perfectly used for the recreational practice of other sports, such as soccer. These are multifunctional pitches that can be used in any municipality or club.

DOMO® HOCKEY XTREME Semi-water-based pitch
Domo® Hockey Xtreme pitches are semi-water-based pitches or half-sand infilled pitches that can be installed with or without irrigation systems. Because the pitch is only partly infilled with sand, and because of the specific way that the yarn is crimped, the ball is literally carried by the pitch, making it easy for players to get their stick under the ball. This allows a technical game with many possibilities. These pitches approach the high-quality game of a water-based pitch. They offer consistent ball roll and ball bounce, and are therefore ideal for a highly technical hockey game.
Domo® Hockey Xtreme is available in two varieties.
DOMO® HOCKEY XTREME
Domo® Hockey Xtreme is tufted with 100% fibrillated PE grass yarn. This is yarn that is soft to the touch, ensuring a pleasing, comfortable game. The yarn is specially crimped to provide very good ball roll with a minimum of deviation. This grass mat is soft and supple to play on, and stays this way in very low temperatures. The risk of burns is reduced as a result. The characteristic honeycomb structure of the grass fibre also retains the water longer, which allows for uniform drying of the pitch.
DOMO® HOCKEY XTREME MDC
Domo® Hockey Xtreme MDC, “Multi-Directional Curled”, is an extremely strong grass mat tufted with 100% PE crimped monofilament yarn. The solid nature of these grass fibres results in outstanding wear resistance. This pitch is comfortable to play on - even in lower temperatures - and exhibits outstanding ball roll with a minimum of deviation.
Domo® Sports Grass obtained an FIH National Certificate for its Domo® Hockey Xtreme line.

DOMOLYMPICS WATER-BASED PITCH
Domolympics pitches - or water-based pitches - are the top-of-the-line product in the Domo Sports Grass hockey range. Every movement made by the player and the ball is perfectly absorbed by the pitch and is translated into outstanding technical playing properties. Because the pitch is fully irrigated with a layer of water, an extremely fast, professional high-quality game is obtained, while at the same time protecting the safety of the players. Domolympics was therefore developed in close collaboration with top international hockey players.
Domolympics is available in two varieties.
HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION - DOMOLYMPICS
Domolympics is tufted with 100% polyethylene fibrillated yarn. The yarn is specially crimped to provide very good ball roll with a minimum of deviation. This yarn is soft and supple to play on, and stays this way in very low temperatures. As a result, there is less risk of burns. The characteristic honeycomb structure of the grass fibre also retains the water longer, which allows for uniform drying of the pitch.
HIGH PERFORMANCE LEVEL - DOMOLYMPICS MDC
Domolympics “Multi-Directional-Curled” is tufted with 100% PP monofilament yarn. Polypropylene is a very hard-wearing material due to its molecular structure. This durability is further strengthened through the use of a monofilament. The PP grass fibres have a specific multidirectional micro-crimping, resulting in a very fast ball roll with only the slightest deviation. High-level professional games are played on this pitch. In addition to the hard-wearing nature of this grass mat, they also look exceptionally natural and beautiful - truly a wonder to behold. A blue-lavender colour combination will be made available for use in the 2012 Olympic Games.
Domo® Sports Grass has obtained an FIH Global Certificate for its Domolympics line of water-based pitches. This certificate is only awarded to hockey pitches that are suitable for international and Olympic tournaments.
