BENEFITS OF A DOMO® TENNIS COURT

Every Domo® artificial grass court possesses a number of fundamental basic properties.

STABLE SURFACE
Domo® tennis courts are made from artificial grass fibres. The fibres hold the grains of sand in place, preventing them from moving. The sand fill also keeps the artificial grass fibres nice and straight, thereby guaranteeing greater stability.

CAN BE PLAYED ON AT ALL TIMES, ALL YEAR ROUND, EVEN AFTER RAIN - EASY-DRAINING AND QUICK-DRYING
After a downpour the court dries out in almost no time, allowing games to be continued straight away. The water drains excellently through the grass mat and the porous base.

CONSISTENT EVEN BOUNCE THANKS TO PERFECTLY LEVEL PLAYING SURFACE
Classic natural or gravel courts very quickly become uneven and pitted. A Domo® artificial grass court is made from fibres, which creates an even artificial grass mat with a high density. This grass mat is placed on top of a level, stable and draining base. This guarantees a consistent, high bounce. Perfect for good topspin or slice.

EXCELLENT TRACTION AND STRONG GRIP ON THE COURT
From left to right, from front to back, short sprints alternating with sharp turns... This requires not only talent and effort, but also excellent traction. This works perfectly on an artificial grass court.

VARIOUS COLOURS AVAILABLE WITH BUILT-IN MARKINGS
Domo tennis courts are grass mats that are available in various colours. Very often a court is finished with a red inner area and a green border. The markings are incorporated into the carpet in white.

MINIMAL MAINTENANCE
Classic tennis courts require a lot of time: to dry, to repair, to maintain, etc. Domo® Sports grass courts do not need maintaining with rollers. Nor do they need to be watered, and the lines do not constantly have to be made visible. These courts dry much more quickly than a classic gravel court, and are much less sensitive to problems of traction. Also, you do not need to water them in the summer, and they will still remain dust-free. An artificial grass court is best maintained by regular use of a mat trawl and an annual treatment for algae and moss.

Courts with a medium game speed are fully sand-filled, ideal for all round recreative activities. As regards game speed they are in keeping with the classic gravel courts. No surprise therefore that hotels, sports and tennis clubs, where courts are often used intensively and for various purposes, choose sand-filled artificial grass courts.

9. PERMANENT SLIDING-PROPERTIES
Domo® Avantage is covered with an extra layer of fine red sand which gives the court the typical sliding properties of a gravel court. The fine sand grains are round in shape, creating a perfect sliding surface. The round grain also ensures water drains away completely, preventing the top surface from hardening or compacting. The sliding properties are therefore permanently present.

10. GRAVEL COURT LOOK WITH BUILT-IN MARKINGS
Domo® Avantage is a sand-filled tennis product with the look and feel of a gravel court. This tennis court is unique because it is produced with red fibres and filled with a layer of red sand on top. The fibrillated fibres of this grass mat form a closed, dense structure and hold the sand grains firmly in place. This prevents the bottom layer of white sand from mixing with the top layer of red sand.

3. COURTS WITH A FAST GAME SPEED

Half-sand-filled courts are perfect for fast games. They offer optimal ball movement and are the favourite choice of more experienced players.

8. HARD-WEARING AND UV STABLE
A monofilament yarn is naturally strong and thus hard-wearing. This was established in the LISPORT test in which this product scored very highly. The solid PE monofilament means that the yarn is protected from the sun and consequently more UV stable.

9. PERFECTLY CONTROLLED BOUNCE
The use of multidirectional texturised yarn means that Topspin is an extremely closed, dense grass mat. This closed playing surface gives an extremely controlled bounce.

10. ATTRACTIVE APPEARANCE
Topspin has the natural look of an unfilled court. The filled sand is hidden by the texturised yarn. The mat is constructed in two shades of green.

11. MINIMAL MAINTENANCE
Topspin is a grass mat with texturised fibres which hold the grains of sand firmly in place meaning that the sand moves around less and resulting in minimal maintenance.

4. STANDARD TENNIS KITS

Domo® Sports Grass also has easy-to-install standard tennis kits on offer. See below for the layout. The kit is entirely ready for use with pre-cut parts and built-in markings. The basic dimensions of this tennis court are: 36.62m x 18.50m. The service lines and the middle lines have to be cut out on site.
